THE WINGED APE. THE ASHEN SHADOW. THE THING FROM MT. ST. HELENS.

After Mount St. Helens blew in 1980, something else emerged — something covered in fur, with glowing eyes and a wingspan that blocked out the stars. They called it Batsquatch.

Described as a bat-winged humanoid with ape-like strength and a hellhound's snarl, Batsquatch has been spotted in the skies over Washington and Oregon. Sometimes near power plants. Sometimes near nothing at all.

Some say it’s a government experiment. Others say it’s extraterrestrial. But whatever it is, it doesn’t flap like a bird — it glides in dead silence, waiting for the wind to shift and the lights to flicker.

If the forest goes quiet and the clouds start to hum, look up. Or don’t.
