THE ROADSIDE STALKER. THE PEACH-SKIN PHANTOM. THE THING WITH NO MOUTH.
In 1977, in the small town of Dover, Massachusetts, multiple teens reported seeing something that defied every category: a child-sized creature with long limbs, glowing orange eyes, and skin the color of rotting fruit. It didn’t speak. It didn’t run. It just stared.
One sighting might be a prank. But three, on separate nights, by unrelated people? That’s something else. Something not quite of this world. The Dover Demon crouched on stone walls, slithered through the brush, and vanished like it was never there — except for the terror it left behind.
No known creature fits its description. Not human. Not animal. Not even alien, really. Just... observed. Once. And maybe still watching.
The Dover Demon doesn’t chase. It waits until you’re alone — and you notice it’s already too close.
