THE MIRE-BORN TERROR. THE THING THE GATORS FEAR.

Lurking deep in the Louisiana wetlands, the Honey Island Swamp Monster is said to stand seven feet tall, covered in matted fur and reeking of rot. Locals say it walks upright like a man — but nothing human leaves tracks like that.

First spotted in the 1960s, this creature has been blamed for shredded wildlife, eerie cries, and vanishing livestock. Even seasoned trappers won’t wander too far once night falls on the bayou.

Some call it a werewolf, others say it’s a mutated hybrid of man and beast. Whatever the truth, one thing’s certain: something is out there — and it doesn’t like being watched.

If the frogs go silent and the water goes still — you’re not alone in the swamp.
